SUMMARY:A Revolutionary Tea
DESCRIPTION:Join staff members at Fort Jesup in celebrating the Christmas Holidays with the last program in our America 250 series.  This tea program will discuss the idea of tea parties and traditions and how they were affected by both the American Revolution as well as the scarcity of supplies during the formative years of our country’s development.  Learn how Christmas would have been celebrated on the frontier of Louisiana and what delicacies were commonly eaten during this time.  For more information contact us at 318-256-4117.
